Professor El Shibli used to water the plants around Khartoum University medical campus. You’d walk in at 7:30AM to find him feeding cats. He’d distribute flowers to students, feed us fruits that he has planted himself in his own farm. He made us laugh, and gave us life advice.

My second cousin is a non verbal autistic boy. An RSF questioned him and when he didn’t respond he was hit over the head with a gun. His mum screamed that he can’t talk. They didn’t care. They beat him to death.
