@calco_marc@_LoveLike_JESUS Father I pray your Grace, comfort, and mercy be with Marc, his son, and his family right now. Let us walk by faith and overcome all obstacles with it. The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much James 5:16 ๐โ๏ธ๐
Our son also will lose his evidence based therapies. Nothing said in recent announcements for the kids that are already getting life-changing therapy. I thought there werenโt supposed to be any gaps in service? Am I wrong? @fordnation @ToddSmithPC
In 113 days my son will lose his needs + evidence based autism therapy. One day he will have therapy and the next day there will be nothing for him. He will regress and @ToddSmithPC will have harmed my child. Yes, HARMED a disabled child. #onpoli#CountDownToCutOff#TimesUpTodd
Not that I would accept this bribe but it also doesnโt even begin to cover the cost of a child with autism needing daycare! It provides 1 hr and 15 minutes care for my child who is going to school half days. Gov. is so out of touch with reality!
Let me get this straight @Sflecce: instead of using fubds to cover education costs, ur bribing parents w/ care while teachers strike? Talk about mismanagement & fiscal irresponsibility. I'd rather my kid go to school>get $60 for daycare. #Shame#onpc#onpoli#onted#ETFO
I am in no way anti LBBTQ rights and choice but poppies should be left as such Red with black center. Just as in Flanders fields. This is about our veterans plain and simple and peopleโs right to their own opinion. A different opinion does not = hate.
@autismhoodjay Thanks for the potty post ... still in potty training world here with soon to be 7 yo whoโs also outgrowing pull ups and diapers. Trying to keep chill about the whole thing ...
@autistics4aba Thank you A4ABA for being the voice of reason for parents of autistic kids. It can be such a scary time for parents who wonder if they are doing the right the things for their child(ren). Our little man is doing amazingly having had a full 2 years of ABA +
@autismhoodjay Maybe society will not but you are a very good Dad and you give him what he needs ... donโt underestimate how powerful of an impact you have in his life. Rest well ... I see you are taking a break from Twitter... take care
@autismhoodjay 2/2 yes there parts of ASD that suck but our kids will make so many social faux pas in there lifetime I think it is essential that they know they are amazing in what they excel at. When my child was aggressive with frustration in communication it was hard to see the good
@autismhoodjay 1/2 A different perspective here... there are areas where our kids shine. Focussing on that strength and what they excel at is important to help them feel good about themselves and improve self-esteem.
@MelanieCreane As Mom to a son with Tourette, people need to be educated on tics. They cannot be controlled by ABA and often poorly controlled with medication. We chose medication because the tics were debilitating, exhausting for him and a major intererference with his daily living.
