.@Starcloud_ CEO @PhilipJohnston: "Buy SpaceX stock."
"It's like owning the railroads."
" The SpaceX IPO is going to be viewed historically as the most undervalued IPO of all time."
"They will tear through $10 trillion certainly within the next couple of years, and then have almost unlimited TAM for what they're building."
"I'm not like regulated by anybody. So I'm going to tell people, 'Just buy SpaceX stock.' I think it's a great stock to buy."
"They own what will be by far the most cost-effective launch vehicle, and that opens up every industry in space that will be possible beyond that: asteroid mining, lunar resource mining, all of the comms businesses that are going to be built. Everything else is going to have to go through SpaceX."
"It's like owning the railroads. Lots of businesses will be built on top of it, like our business will be built on top of it."
"The railroads are a great business to own."
@elonmusk
We knew this was going to happen at some point, somewhere. We now have politicians officially trying to dictate what hardware autonomous companies like Tesla need to use (lol)
Sen. Andrew Zwicker: "At this point, I don't think the evidence is sufficient that a single sensor with software can handle situations that humans can."
Apparently Tesla's nearly 12B real world miles on FSD and Unsupervised Robotaxi operations in four cities with cameras only isn't enough evidence?
This will surely not be the last time this happens
Be sure to oppose this ridiculous bill with Tesla at the link below $TSLA
I was born in the People's Republic of Poland, behind the Iron Curtain. So it's always fascinating to watch people romanticize the very ideology millions spent decades trying to escape.
Call it socialism, communism, collectivism, or "democratic socialism." The branding changes, but the core idea doesn't: more government control over the economy, less individual liberty, and politicians deciding who owns, produces, and profits.
The collectivist regimes of the 20th century were responsible for immense human suffering and hundreds of millions of deaths. Yet somehow, people promoting these ideas are celebrated instead of being asked why history should end differently this time.
Een mega boomerang ‘in the making’.
It's because of the basic psychologies of fascism and communism.
Fascism is a disgust spiral, whose basic commandment is "thou shalt not be worse than me." It starts out with anti-smoking campaigns and burning child pornography, and ends up disappearing anyone who doesn't mow his lawn.
Communism is an envy spiral, whose basic commandment is "thou shalt not be better than me." It starts out targeting captains of industry and genius intellectuals, and ends up disappearing anyone who wears glasses, which create the suspicion that he might have read a book once.
This is why people with communist psychology (the left) equate clean streets with fascism.
Leftists can't keep their streets clean and their lawns mowed, but instead of the psychologically healthy response of being slightly embarrassed and resolving to do better, they decide that anyone in a nice neighborhood is a fascist who needs to be exposed and purged.
You, oh right-wing conservative, watching this video clip, think that leftists are accidentally pointing out the benefits of fascism.... i.e. that people can have nice things.
But if you understood communist psychology, really understood it, you would realize that the mowed lawns, clean streets, and neatly-groomed people are actually another accusation.
Not only are they racists, complains the narrative, they have nicer houses and neighborhoods than you. How dare they?
How dare they not be surrounded by trash and graffiti?
How dare they not be awoken at 3 AM by their drunk neighbors blasting loud music?
Who do they think they are, some sort of superior race?
You don't notice that accusation because you are not the target audience. The target audience is people prone to destructive envy, and the goal is to recruit them to communism.
They don't care if you think this points out the benefits of fascism, or even just the benefits of racism. Because you are not prone to destructive envy, so they can never recruit you anyway.
And it makes no difference if you point out that the end result of this is that every neighborhood is covered in trash and graffiti.
That's what commies want.
Why? Because their neighborhoods are always going to be messed up no matter what ideology is in control. Fascism, communism, liberalism, objectivism, doesn't matter. They are not disciplined enough to do battle with entropy through sustained effort, and not creative or intelligent enough to do battle with entropy through innovation.
But if their house is inevitably going to be surrounded by mountains of trash, just because of who they are, then the greatest comfort they can aspire to is a world where your house is surrounded by trash, too.
This is why communism ruins everything, and why communists cannot be dissuaded when you point this out. Ruining everything for anyone who's better off is what they want.
The trick is to get them to realize that communism allows anyone who is even worse off than they to ruin whatever they still have. Which isn't easy, because if they were smart enough to easily understand this, they wouldn't be surrounded by trash in the first place.
Schreiben Sie also gefälligst etwas unterhaltsamer in den kommenden Wochen... ZwinkerSmiley!
Tomorrow I will speak against Chat Control!
The European Parliament already rejected mass scanning of private messages, but now some want to bring it back through the back door. We should protect children by catching predators, giving them tough sentences and strengthening law enforcement, not by treating millions of innocent citizens like suspects.
Real child protection targets criminals, not everyone. @ESNgroup_EU

SpaceX provides launches at a fraction of the cost. The government buys a ride on their rocket, saving taxpayers millions & billions of dollars. This is ~5% of SpaceX revenue. “You took from us!” No, he saved you money.
Democrats: “Everyone should drive electric cars! Let’s give a $7,500 tax credit to everyone who buys one!” Elon makes electric cars like you asked for. “He took from us!” No… you paid people to buy cars like the ones he makes. Why did you come up with this incentive if you didn’t like it? You thought it was a great idea until he became your political opponent. These incentives are no longer gone and Tesla reported the their best second quarter ever.
Tesla and SpaceX are makers. They do not take other people’s money, they save taxpayers money.
🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦 "How can we get rid of Ursula #vonderLeyen as President of the Commission?"
Ridiculous: When you try out the new EU-internal AI (EP GenAI Hub) for the first time with the most obvious question of all, you're immediately blocked for an alleged security policy violation!
Whenever I vowed to arrest bad guys, the pushback was always "you can't do that! There's no room in the jails!"
Communists close the jails, then they can use the "not enough jails" excuse to never enforce the law, as your city erodes.
See their little commie magic trick?
This is how you sneakily eliminate the laws that hold society together...you don't need legislature, you don't need to erase the laws, you just render them moot by making it practically impossible to ever enforce.
23 years ago, we set out to prove that electric cars could be great – not just great electric cars, but the best cars overall.
We’ve gone from one electric sports car to
– Over 9 million vehicles on the road
– Model Y becoming the world’s best-selling car of any kind only 3 years after first deliveries
– 5 Gigafactories & other manufacturing sites across 3 continents
– The largest & most reliable fast charging network w/ over 80,000 Superchargers globally
– Energy generation & storage systems helping power homes & grids (over 1 million Powerwalls installed, 70+ GWh of industrial energy storage operating globally across 2,200+ projects)
Today, we’re bringing AI into the real world with autonomy @Tesla_AI and robotics @Tesla_Optimus.
Tesla is only getting started – a world of amazing abundance awaits
It's not your decision to make, Bernie, whether a price is "unacceptable." That belongs to the people making the purchase, not a government bureaucrat who imagines he knows what a thing ought to cost. If the price is too high, men don't buy it, and Apple lowers it. That is the only authority required: the free judgment of the buyer.
You want to talk greed? Greed is wanting what you did not earn and seizing it by force. Cook offered you a phone you are free to refuse. You offer the public nothing and demand the power to dictate terms to a company you never built, with money you never made.
Apple's "profits" are millions of voluntary choices to trade. Your career is the opposite: taking by law what men would not give you by choice. One of you produced the value. The other just wants the power to command it.
The greed isn't in Cupertino. It's in the Senate seat that confuses a vote with ownership of other people's work.
Communism through (my) ages:
1) When I was 15, a teacher told me "It isn't as bad as they say, and makes a lot of sense."
2) At about 19, college friends, "Socialism isn't communism."
3) At 20, on meeting my grandfather-in-law, "They are evil. We escaped in 1949."
4) At 30, "China is a wonderful developing Democracy"
5) At 35, I was sent to communist China on business. It was a crowded, smelly, dirty, factory of despair and hopelessness. This I saw with my own eyes.
6) At 36, "China doesn't count. Successful socialism is in northern Europe."
7) I moved to northern Europe when I was 40. It was much nicer than China, but also felt like I was living in the past. I had to wait 6 months for a hernia operation.
8) When I was about 45, the migrant crisis began. The socialist/globalist/pacifist allowed them entry into every country, regardless how many crimes they committed along the way. Just 20 minutes from my house, in Calais, I was shocked to see migrants jumping onto trucks, breaking open the doors, scattering the contents across the highway, then climbing in. They went through the Chunnel and got out in England.
9) At 52, the soft socialism around me had transformed into globalism. I was told I had to call people by their preferred pronouns, though it was a lie, and even if I didn't know what the preferences were. I quit.
10) I returned to the US, and am now 60. "Socialism" is no longer a dirty word here. People openly espouse the virtues of it. Politicians run as socialists and win.
Socialism has taken many forms, from the Bolshevism of Russia, to the CCP in China, the Nazis in Germany, Fascists in Italy, and the many forms of it found in Latin America. It is one of the two most destructive ideologies on earth. It is designed to deprive, despirit, and murder everything that comes in contact with it.
Socialism is a great lie at every level. It helps no one, not even those who benefit the most. This is because the cost is the imposition of one's will on everyone else, and that destroys the soul of the usurper and the life of the oppressed.
Socialism always fails on its own, but only after destroying almost everything in its train. It can also be conquered. Those are the options.
The IIHS has updated its Cybertruck crash test ratings, adding that the truck avoided every single pedestrian collision, including:
• Crossing child: day
• Crossing adult: night
• Parallel adult: night
Cybertruck earned the best safety rating of Top Safety Pick+, the only pickup truck to earn that award.
