@BillSimmons easy solution for tanking has been solved already, Gold Plan, by Adam Gold and used by PWHL. Starting Feb 1st, teams earn 3 points for a win, 2pts OT win, 1pt OT loss, 0pts for loss. Most points of the lottery teams is the draft order. Worst team get 2nd or 3rd pick
