Trigger: Michael Pittman Jr. went from LIMITED Wednesday to DNP Thursday with a foot injury. Pittsburgh says Wilson is positioned for a larger role if Pittman can’t play.
What I see: Wilson already ran 26 routes, drew 6 targets and commanded 120+ air yards in Week 1. That was before a potential Pittman absence.
Cost: Around 1% rostered on ESPN/Yahoo; preseason ADP was outside the top 200.
Fantasy: I’m buying the route ceiling. If Pittman sits, Wilson can move from a 58% route share toward a near-full-time role while keeping the downfield targets.
Verdict: I’M ADDING ROMAN WILSON BEFORE FRIDAY’S INJURY REPORT. SIX TARGETS + 120 AIR YARDS AT 1% ROSTERED WAS ALREADY INTERESTING — NOW THE DEPTH CHART MAY OPEN TOO.
