@JohntheWilson_9@CodyC64 I blame lazy reporting for most people’s misunderstanding of the lawsuit.
The injunction was to enforce NCAA bylaws that allowed previous gambling violators to receive little to no suspension. Sorsby simply wanted similar treatment, & offered the 2-game suspension the court gave.
@GigglingGanon It’s unbelievable the Sheriff thinks, and actually said, that the police would risk their lives so that he’d get the blame if things went “to shit”.
Why is the Sheriff so mad? Was he trying to prevent a judicial warrant from being served against potential criminals?!?!
@stephuf15@Sierrajoy32 Florida won game 2 by 8 runs and yet both teams lined up and did the postgame handshake. To claim the same level of sportsmanship is unnecessary in game 3 because one team’s emotions were running high tells you all you need to know about that team’s commitment to sportsmanship.
@skogstrast If he fixed his camera to the hogline, then why is the hogline not in this photo?
If they’re cheating, then they should be called out. But touching it before the hogline is allowed, and shouldn’t be implied as cheating simply because of a prior incident.
@DrShreds1@Mrdecent000 It was last year, and a lot of people weren’t aware. Since TikTok can’t be expected to release statements every time someone does something dumb to get banned, providing public awareness of what she did benefits the general public.
@flatland_sports SEC & B10 are stopping it. They oppose Cody Campbell’s efforts to amend Sports Broadcast Act. Currently, only billionaire-owned pro. teams can pool their tv rights. SEC & B10 prefer that over allowing conferences — and thus other universities —the mere chance of making big money.
@RossDellenger Current law only allows the billionaire-owned pro. teams to pool their tv rights. It seems the SEC and B10 prefer that blanket prohibition, rather than allow other conferences — and thus universities all across the nation —the mere possibility they might get a bit more funding.
@jeremiah__hale @RossDellenger That scene isn’t in the commercial about the conference commercials. Airing a different affiliated commercial isn’t the same thing.
