#RSSGent Elyria/Swansea had the minority of industry without obvious growth. It was mostly residential with only a couple of resteraunts and one store. I didn’t see any cultural landmarks and there were more vacant/old houses, as well as only a few businesses and no office park.

#RSSGent Five Points was definitely more gentrified in the sense that it was more residential but still had a good variety of businesses. There were churches, more schools, more modern and diverse resteraunts, and construction/renovations of office buildings.

I felt as though gentrification is great for a community as a whole to improve the quality of living. However for those that cannot afford to gentrify they could either get excluded or the entire process goes a lot slower, either way it causes conflict.
