@coItIand I saw other ppl pointing it out in the replies but it's truly the knowing that your parent will choose alcohol over their kid and always say the're getting better but never actually do it. I'm probably projecting on holly somewhat but shit i feel so bad for her

@coItIand I love the movie and it's characters but it was hard to watch in some scenes. Holly being parentified while holland is portrayed as a "funny drunk". Because while drunk parents can seem fun to relatives/friends (lots of laughs, and "chill"), it's hell for the kids in so many ways
