This 50-50 “partnership” with both husband and wife working full-time jobs outside the home and children being raised in daycare is the whole reason for the fight about whose job it is to clean the house. No ship sinks faster than a partnership.
This year has taught me that a good year can also be a hard year. I've held joy and pain in equal measure. The joy hasn't made it less painful and the pain hasn't made it less joyful. it’s the year I learnt what it means to hold all things in a delicate balance.
Someone once compared grief to carrying a needle in your pocket. Most of the time, you go about your day without noticing it. But then, out of nowhere, you get pricked, and all the pain comes rushing back.
I think that's a perfect way to describe it.
So my bestfriend went through her husband's phone while he was asleep (btw she didn't find anything). But instead of arguing he bought her snacks, chocolates & flowers with a card that says "I'm sorry for not making you feel secure & nobody owns my heart but you". Dream Guy !!
Just heard someone say..
No one notices your sadness until it turns into anger, and then you're the problem.
Healing is realizing you became the angry person because no one saw your sadness first.
