Hurrah!!!!! What an amazing way to end my time as editor of Charitable Traveller. I’m so proud to have been part of the team that created this magazine for @CharitableTrav - a company that’s trying to create a better world through my favourite thing - travel! Congrats team CT!
I’ve not been able to thinking about Sarah Everard this week so I had to write about it: https://t.co/9Q5HsEIFCP If you’ve feeling as helpless as I was there are some amazing charities fighting violence against women detailed at the end #SarahEverard#ReclaimTheseStreets
The second issue is out! The Bond film being delayed last-min means the Bond film locations feature isn’t so current but hopefully still a fun read! Also inside: Anguilla, safari in South Africa, Saskatchewan, a day in the life of a film maker helping people with dementia & more!
@angelascanlon My friend & I met Nick knowles about 13 years ago in a backpacker bar in Queenstown, NZ. My mate sang Black Velvet and he sought her out to compliment her! She was beyond thrilled that Nick from DIY SOS liked what he heard! Can’t remember what he sang but he was good too!
My desk this morning so that @Hermesparcels can’t say I wasn’t in even though I was 2 metres from the front door. This time I’m right here - watching you 👀
Listening to @SimonCalder on a @WTM_London webinar and he called the travel industry “the industry of human happiness” just as it started raining - love this! #onetravelindustry

Sorry to be missing #imm2020 and the @TravMedia_UK awards today but don’t think anyone wants me coughing on them in the current climate (currently a less glam version of the below!)
@allisonpearson She's more likely to make a difference in a country which has been industrialised for much longer and is much richer per capita. She's not targeting but raising awareness in a globally influentual country. Plus, better to strive to be the best rather than better than the worst.
Jeppe Klockareson from @Fair_Travel_Swe says we must maximise the positive effects of travel. It’s about quality over quantity @MatkaTravelFair@sellingtravmag
There is such a thing as real news and proper journalism. It’s not perfect because nothing done by humans is. Of course it’s biased. But unless it’s marked as opinion, it’s structured using facts. And it’s worth respecting and protecting. https://t.co/GEHGhYRxJ8
