studies in gouache from some #projecthailmary screenshots I liked... with very little detail because they are tinyyyyy

#phm #rylandgrace

[Kalincka @KalinckaVEVO]

[Jasmine 🌌🔭 @astro_jaz]

in a perpetual state of feeling like ryland grace finding out he’s being forced to go to space

[Gaëll Dragons @GaellDragons]

@KalinckaVEVO Est-ce que french Ryland il mange des croque-monsieur-Grace au lieu des me burgers ?

Yeah I like #phm (still figuring out how to draw grace tho)

[Gaëll Dragons @GaellDragons]

@ThejurassicW No it's not, most of the shots here are almost exact replicas of shots i've seen in other animated movies (pigeons from Bolt, maybe, and others). The parts that are not one-to-one copies of stuff made by actual animators suck (the beak fighting, the wings and general narration).

They are so dear to me... #byler

@_akreon_ @krystalmelodie Basically the AI copied what could be copied off of the original, and what it couldn't copy (different face, hair, clothes) it did badly. AI cannot "create" anything. Only steal from others.

[Gaëll Dragons @GaellDragons]

@_akreon_ @krystalmelodie - readable silhouettes that are pleasing to the eye. As others have mentioned, facial expressions are also way more appealing in the animated version.
Anyway that's my very "technical" analysis, but truly what makes it better is the soul put into it, the real work of a real human
