I never imagined that in the heart of an American city—under the glare of traffic lights, storefront cameras, and the unblinking eyes of passersby—a scene straight out of a dystopian nightmare would unfold before me. Yet there it was: federal agents from ICE,

🚨DHS is already lying about Border Patrol’s illegal actions in Charlotte, NC.

After video exposed agents assaulting a U.S. citizen, DHS claimed the man “refused lawful commands.”

Except… those commands weren’t lawful at all.

This man was racially profiled twice.
The first time, he showed his ID and agents left.
Then, when he returned to his car with food, a second group of agents approached him without any legal basis.

Here are the laws Border Patrol violated:

👉Fourth Amendment

Agents cannot detain someone without reasonable suspicion. Sitting in a parking lot, with takeout, is not a crime… and appearance alone is not reasonable suspicion.

👉No Warrant, No Probable Cause

They had no warrant, no probable cause, and no articulable suspicion of any crime or immigration violation.

Without that, they cannot order someone out of their vehicle.

So their “commands” were not lawful.

👉Illegal Detention & Excessive Force

Because the stop was unconstitutional, everything that followed was too… including:

• breaking his car window
• ripping him out of the vehicle
• assaulting him
• detaining him without legal justification

This is exactly the kind of conduct the Supreme Court says violates the Fourth Amendment.

And DHS claiming the man was “trying to distract agents,” when agents approached HIM, is beyond laughable.

It’s a cover story… and a bad one.

I think it’s safe to say the United States is not a “Christian nation”…

In Chicago, ICE/Border Patrol targeted faith leaders outside the Broadview ICE facility.

And in Charlotte, NC, they raided a church.

Witnesses say 15 to 20 congregants were doing yard work at a church off Albemarle Road in east Charlotte when masked immigration agents stormed the property.

According to the pastor, the agents asked no questions, showed no identification, detained one man, and tried to grab others… which should alarm everyone, especially as the FBI has warned about a rise in ICE/Border Patrol impersonators.

This is yet another reminder that these raids were never about catching the “worst of the worst.” It was never about safety. It was about targeting vulnerable people… even in places of worship, and schools.

@EricLDaugh It’s understandable to detain those undocumented but when you are and have shown your ID and they stop you twice, assault and damage your property that’s a problem.
