She grinned and looked around them at the little barrier she created. Lady Galadriel told her that in times of trouble it would be her best friend.

"I was born. . .with a gift, as Nana and Ada call it. They send me to visit with Last Galadriel who trains me."

Oh, his eyes lit up like a child’s on Yule — she was magical and it filled him with wonder. A smile make its way onto his lips.

“It’s beautiful,” he said, looking back at Galades. “You’re amazing.”

She smiled and took a small step back. She took a deep breath and she slowly pulled her hands away from each other, a flexible ray of light between her hands.

She began to manipulate the light to create a barrier around their bodies. "It's an impenetrable light barrier."
