@_peachymochi Me too 😰 Never knew. But hey, I don’t think it will be all the marks. It may be one mark, and likely won’t appear on every evaluate question (ones conducted by scientists don’t count cause they do the tests, from what I’ve been told.)
@dianaf82495473 I don’t think so! We were all talking to her, and she said that anything attached to those weird stringy tendons is the AV valves. That’s the telltale sign of the AV valves specifically in a real heart diagram. That was her reasoning there.😊
@likeyminatozaki @Kobisha7 Was never taught it, we were always told to look at the graph and interpret it, not to think about external factors :( you were supposed to look at the data too, right? Worried I did nothing right now, if it was all about external analysis, or is that just for 1 mark? 😨
@Karina01940605@pixelminghao No no I agree, off the spec content is a really good idea in this situation...! I think she meant something about having to explain the bond itself in some examples where it’s uncertain, or not taught, assuming they want the specifics of each bond.😦but I think that’d be harsh
@amzmrz Aaaaahhh is this not correct? I put AV valves and then bicuspid in brackets, I think it might count? Since it’s a more specific term for the AV valves on one side I think... unless I’m totally wrong, oops😂
@Orangeinpyjamas I asked my teacher too bc I was terrified my last paragraph was incorrect and she said it’s technically a grey area, and that she would avoid mentioning it repeatedly, but also that it technically isn’t wrong if you specified the bond itself happening at the receptor☺️
@brycebkb That’s so frustrating my dude... if it were me, I’d want to resit rather than have my grade toggled with against people who’ve cheated to make it fair😨
@Karina01940605@pixelminghao I asked my teacher as a follow up and she told me it was a grey area, since the inner workings of receptors is off the spec, and said it is something she would advise to avoid writing abt repeatedly. But hey... you’re the chemistry expert here, not me.😁
@brycebkb I wanna say I dodged a bullet by being on OCR maths but they gave us a mechanics section with no numbers in it when everyone relies on mechanics for their grade😂 they gave a fair paper 1 and 2 then played us with an impossible one right at the end.
@lozzaatayy My teacher said it was probably bicuspid/AV due to the connecting tendons but it was a dumb question, I swear they put the arrow so close to the middle on purpose
@brycebkb I had edexcel for physics. In paper 1, they gave us an off the spec, (grey area) not taught in class question... as a 6 marker. And gave us a joke question about bees on national bee day. Their paper was impossible, they think they’re slick but we all failed that paper😂
