I once got arrested because of a post I made on this app. I thought I was smart, but these people were actually smarter than me 😭
They didn’t even track me. It all started with a dm.Someone DM’d me and asked me to send my rate card for promotion. I sent it, and the next day, they reached out again with an invoice, didn’t even argue about the price. Instead, they told me it was going to be a long-term partnership, not the normal per-post or monthly gig.
I was so happy because that was a lot of money.
They asked me to drop my account details, which I did. When it was time to pay, they told me the company would make the payment directly and that I should wait.
Two days later, they reached out again and said
🚨 Hansi Flick: “My respect for Mourinho is enormous. Mourinho has shown his ability at every club he’s coached”.
“I remember meeting him once in Madrid, when I was Joachim Löw’s assistant with Germany”.
“We went to visit him because some of our players were there. What I can say is that all the players who had worked under him spoke of him with tremendous respect, and I share that same opinion”.
“He’s a colleague who has had tremendous success and a great coach whom I respect enormously”.
What triggers this level of sycophancy in the Nigerian politics today is the perception that the president enjoys it. One day we will hear what they actually wanted to say
Wike no dey hide am. Many politicians bury their methods. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, narrates his in public, and I have started treating the narration as a record.
On 21 September 2026, on TVC's Journalists' Hangout, he explained what the G5 did in the 2023 presidential election. The G5 were five governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who broke with their own party's candidate. He was one of them, then Governor of Rivers State. In his telling, the plan was to let Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, take votes in parts of the South-South so that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP's candidate, could not bank the region. Rivers was the exception. Obi would not win there, he said, because it would send a wrong signal. "And we stopped it."
In March 2023, still governor, he told a media chat in his hometown, Rumueprikom, two things. His interest, he said, was a southern president, and he never worked against Obi to deny him victory in Rivers. I have no quarrel with the first. Backing a side is politics. The second sits beside "we stopped it", three and a half years apart. Both statements are his.
"We stopped it" describes an outcome, and outcomes have mechanisms. When critics called it rigging, he answered that strategy should not be equated with manipulation. I will accept that for now. It still leaves the mechanism unexplained, and he is the one who raised it. Stopped it how?
Osun produced another account. Three days after the 15 August 2026 governorship election there, he told reporters in Abuja that no federal might was used. In the same breath, he said that if the President had wanted Osun at all costs, he would have been there and they would have won. He compared it with Rivers in 2019, when he says he faced federal might himself. I read that plainly. He denied an intervention, then described his own capacity to make one decisive. "At all costs" is his phrase. He is the person best placed to tell us what it covers.
Here is why the record matters. Investigations reconstruct sequence: who decided, when, and by what method. A statement made voluntarily, in public, by the person in the room fixes one point in that sequence. Alone, it proves little, and I am not alleging a crime. It tells an investigator where to look first.
He survived what he calls federal might in 2019, and he tells critics to come and ask him what it was like. Power in Abuja changes hands. Whoever reads his record next may read it with a colder eye.
🚨 Enzo Maresca on Manchester City situation: “I'm very calm. The club has been quite clear. We trust, completely, the club”.
“So we understand the noise, but the focus for us is just what we can control, and we can control just the football side”.
🩵🤍 Leo Messi: “We won the World Cup, the Copa América, the Finalissima… I’m incredibly grateful for everything”.
“But this journey wasn’t only about 2022 or this last World Cup. So many teammates fought alongside me for this shirt long before we finally became world champions. Never doubt how much every one of them fought and gave for Argentina”.
