365 days later. We are still stuck.

My grandmother, a Holocaust survivor always told me that she would explain to me what happened to her when I would be older.

She never got the chance, but I now understand.

On a day where Jews suffered its worst attack since the Holocaust, we still have hostages being held, starved and tortured. Israel and the Jews as one nation is fighting a multi front war fighting off terrorism who openly state their goal of destroying us.

There isn’t a nation in the world who would sit back and let the evil attack them and do nothing. Yet it’s hard to understand why the Jewish nation has to even rationalize on defending itself.

We are done explaining. We are done talking. The war was started by terrorists who took our innocent people. The war could’ve ended by returning them to us.

I will never forgive the innocent quiet bystanders who stood by and said nothing while evil was coming after the good. We see you and we won’t fall or ever give up. I will never forgive you for having to send our sons and daughters to fight and risk thier lives to protect their own. The hate and anti semitism that is spreading like fire, won’t change the fact of who and what we are. We are survivors. We are strong. We are one.

I promise you all one thing.

We are more united as ever.
We will never give up on our homeland.
We will never give up on our people.
We will fight for ourselves with or without anyone by our side.

Hashem has always saved us, and he will continue to save us now again.

Let our people go.
Let our people return to their homes.
