I’ve seen people saying Oda retconned Holy Knights dying to attacks infused with Conqueror’s Haki because, in Chapter 1175, Luffy hit Sommers with Conqueror’s Haki and completely pulverized him. But I’ll explain why I think Sommers didn’t actually die from that attack.
The reason I think Sommers survived is because he was guarding with the Color of the Supreme King. Hear me out.
When Garp & Roger were fighting Xebec in Chapter 1165, Roger said he was using both the color of Armament and the color of the Supreme king, saying, “There’s no way I couldn’t have hurt him.” Garp then says Xebec was also guarding with the color of the Supreme King, so they cancel each other out.
Now go back to Chapter 1175. Luffy “pulverized” Sommers, but Sommers somehow managed to put himself back together. @Heauegerkergerk and I were talking about this on Discord, and we concluded that Sommers guarding with the color of the Supreme King could allow him to regenerate.
Then, in Chapter 1193, we finally get a panel showing Sommers using Gram with the Conqueror’s Haki indicator, “zzt” which confirms what we suspected, Sommers can infuse both his attacks and himself with the Color of the Supreme King.
again, do not let these millennial women act like they're the real victims being slutshamed and bullied over casual sex. this is from ONE POST, gen z being called retarded prude virgins simply for understanding that casual sex for many ppl does indeed mean sex with strangers.
"Oda messed up with Sanji, he's not a conqueror!"
"Oda messed up with Zoro, he's already an ACoC master!"
Maybe you were just wrong? When we were saying that for years and you were going "lalalala can't hear you", you were continuing to be wrong?
Nah, must be Oda

Nah the agenda blinds again ,these mfs were confused when they seen Koby do an attack and believe he can jump from coq too advanced coq arms cause he’s mad enough
This is 100% a self-inflicted problem caused by agenda-driven fanbase disputes. Adv Conqueror's Haki has always had consistent indicators.
1. Refined Haki lightning streaks
2. Specific SFX
3. Non-contact clashes
4. Characters outwardly saying it's being used
Whenever ACoC is used, you can be certain that there are at least 2 of these indicators. If there's ever doubt, a character will literally just drop exposition about it being used.
The problem is that a whole lot of the fanbase, most particularly the agenda-heads, don't stop to do this kind of attention to detail. That's why we end up with so mant conflicting and contradictory interpretations.
Some fans care more about their own interpretation being perceived as correct than they do about actually knowing the objective indicators that the story consistently provides.
Haki is not poorly explained. It is poorly understood.
@KingDeluxeee@wanikoz0 Zoro is not aCoq master people telling him on the fly is not only not enough especially in the middle of a war , where did you see the panel of him acknowledging HIS own coq until now???
Finding out Zoro actually didnt even know he was a conqueror stung as a Zoro fan but it's genuinely one of the best writing decisions Oda has made in years. Most of you just aren't seeing how this fact changes things
It is better for both the story *AND* Zoro that he didn't know
@cran3snth3sky sorry (not) but until that orgasm gap isn’t so high, yall will never trick me into believing casual sex is this great thing. most women aren’t benefiting from it and there’s more risk for women, whether you like that or not.
