Not that I consider it a possibility of any kind... But I'm very tempted to design scenes and story concepts for the comic with the sole intent of making it "unfilmable" or unadaptable in live action. Just because I'm tired of seeing all those Netflix anime adaptations trying it.

I really like that penguin artist meme tbh. Don't get where the hate comes from. It just gives me more cool art to look at on the timeline. It's not just stupid "cold-hot takes" like the Flynn Rider and John Wick memes.

It's been a while since last I said something here, but to those wondering, I'm essentially in reboot mode.
I'm redoing a big chunk of the intro segments and tweaking stuff all over the comic to make sense to account for the changes.

Ha ha haha. You know what's funny? Rewriting almost ALL of the intro segment because I got a better idea. After considering it finished. THAT'S ONE HELL OF A FUN JOKE, EH?! Hah.

What most people do, and what is admittedly easier, is to just put the panels on top of eachother, like this.

it works, but the establishing shot loses a lot of impact this way. We can barely see it, because the format doesn't let us take up horizontal space the same way!

@globalcomix Neutral Plotter methinks... Honestly it kind of changes by the hour. I can be Chaotic Plotter as well, just minus the little cards and plus a massive Google Doc I shuffle around from time to time.

Now that I am going through a lot of famous comics for research, it's interesting to actually have an opinion on some of them. Watchmen for example.

I'd recommend most people who are into comics in any way to give it a read, be it for research or enjoyment, but I'd bet most who'd want to do so already have.

Obviously, there isn't any music like in the anime, and remembering those bits might have made things easier to picture in my mind as I read, but the way the author breaks the 4Koma format during those moments where Bocchi really lets it rip, makes it feel insanely powerful.

Reading through the Bocchi the Rock manga since I'm obsessed with the anime. I'm usually not too into 4Koma styled manga, as the format makes it less visually interesting, but I didn't realize that they could break the rules. I figured it was some holy tradition or something.
