I found the first 2 months of #FIRE to be time for a good break from the blog and financials in general. Kids are back in school though, so time to get back at it. Here's our August #FIRE update. https://t.co/S55N8G074y
Just walked out the door for the last time. Cube was way messier than I thought I left it. :) fun to basically see a snapshot of 16 months ago. Time for the next adventure!
Definitely have felt like work has moved on without me this last week of work. No real emails and a lot of free time. :) Just a reminder that big corporations will always be OK without you, prioritize yourself first!
For people who have left their jobs and had COBRA as an option: Did you end up using COBRA or just jumping right to another healthcare option? It looks like we can buy a plan that is around $250 cheaper a month. Weird timing considerations though... https://t.co/gY9TYLmCdH
I resigned last week and have just a couple of more weeks until Financial Independence. It's been a fun journey and I thought I would capture how that last week went. https://t.co/U8IS8hM11Q
Well I officially quit my job today and my manager was really happy for me. Other than that though, silence from HR and anyone else. I guess I thought more would happen when you resign. :) Maybe tomorrow??? https://t.co/U8IS8hM11Q
It's finally happening! Putting in my notice today at work to start the full #FIRE journey next month! I'll share how the day goes on my blog! At this point, just feeling ready and excited! https://t.co/U8IS8hM11Q
It's official! I have put in my notice and offered to stay until July 9th. Waiting for HR now to say what is next. I have a great manager, his first comments were how excited he was for me!
