Please join us in celebrating the life and work of an artist who not only changed cinema forever but also altered how we experience the world and showed us what it really means to dream.
Steven Spielberg has paid tribute to David Lynch, the visionary director behind “Twin Peaks” and “Blue Velvet.”
“I loved David’s films. ‘Blue Velvet,’ ‘Mulholland Drive’ and ‘Elephant Man’ defined him as a singular, visionary dreamer who directed films that felt handmade,” Spielberg said in a statement. “I got to know David when he played John Ford in ‘The Fabelmans.’ Here was one of my heroes—David Lynch playing one of my heroes. It was surreal and seemed like a scene out of one of David’s own movies. The world is going to miss such an original and unique voice. His films have already stood the test of time and they always will.” https://t.co/EvWqUvrMFd
The @remedygames internal code name for Alan Wake 2 was ”Big Fish”. I think David Lynch is swimming with the big fish now. Rest in peace. His influence goes far and wide and will live on.
In 1996, David Foster Wallace visited the set of LOST HIGHWAY not to interview the director, but to watch him at work. "David Lynch Keeps his Head" is about as beautiful an artist profile as I've ever read, a tribute from a giant to another: https://t.co/M7h9NWY8rh
We love you, David Lynch. ❤️ Goodnight to a truly once-in-a-lifetime artist, who not only changed cinema forever but altered how we experience the world and showed us what it really means to dream. No more blue tomorrows.
Kyle MacLachlan has paid tribute to David Lynch.
“Forty-two years ago, for reasons beyond my comprehension, David Lynch plucked me out of obscurity to star in his first and last big budget movie. He clearly saw something in me that even I didn’t recognize. I owe my entire career, and life really, to his vision,” MacLachlan wrote.

Composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross lovingly recall their David Lynch "Twin Peaks" collaboration: "It’s meant to have a raw quality." https://t.co/X4NtvkWSt5
Hace seis años David Lynch dio una charla a la distancia para el público mexicano. Se le admirará por siempre. El mundo no es mejor sin la inteligencia de un artista como él.
