🧵 Betting 101: Bankroll Management Thread
1️⃣More important than getting the best price or picking winners and losers is bankroll management.
The only thing worse than a losing bettor is one who’s constantly in and out of the game because they can’t properly manage their bankroll.
We call this “risk of ruin.”
@ehcartier@JDCowboys2@dallasmavs@Cooper_Flagg Meh the tickets themselves are prob worth at least a million depending on where exactly they are. I think they should throw in 250K cash on top of everything to make it more enticing.
Projecting "you're worried" onto a tweet that took me 30 seconds to write is low-IQ drivel. You have no idea where I am in life—whatever NPC normie slop projection that is.
I've been doing this longer than you and have gotten a dozen accounts limited at MGM for winning far less than what they're letting you bet.
Which means one of the following:
- You're a net breakeven or loser lifetime in sports betting.
- You're not sharp long-term (zero CLV).
- You're a net positive to their bottom line in some way (partnership, promotion, etc.).
- You're just straight-up lying (not saying I think this).
GL with your betting either way.
