Well there it goes! Over this week, Liddell Power Station has been shut. It's good step in the move to net zero and will interesting to see what effects this will have on the NEM. Check out NEM Modelling webpage and see how you can replace the 2GW of Coal. https://t.co/dnGdFW9pJS
The UK Government has announced that the Welsh Hanson cement works will be one of eight projects to form the basis of the UK’s new CCUS clusters. This is great news for the progression of CCS on Cement! News article https://t.co/ZyuRXebVSC

Ammonia or hydrogen? This question is being heavily discussed by places such as Australia and the middle east on how they can export clean fuel to places such as Japan. GE and IHI Corp's latest study indicates that hydrogen could be 50% more than ammonia! https://t.co/1ysS0ABOTF
Check out this article in Powermag, looking at the need from CCUS in the energy transition!
We definitely need all technologies to enable us to reach net-zero, renewables, energy storage, nuclear, hydrogen/ammonia & CCUS!!

Just uploaded to our website, are two new helpful infographic outlining the 2021 & 2022 stats surrounding the Australian National Energy Market. Every wondered how much electricity was generated by which generation technology? Then look no further! https://t.co/IDu8S5i8BW
The US Doe has updated their Geospatial Energy Mapper. This tool shows which areas in the United States are favourable for the development of certain energy resources and infrastructures. For more information, check out the press release here: https://t.co/q4FZ7lzOql
GE and IHI Sign MOY to Develop Gas Turbines that Can Operate on 100% Ammonia! Ammonia can be shipped easier than hydrogen, but cracking ammonia energy is intensive. This turbine would not require the ammonia to be cracked!. Press release here https://t.co/BZMHXkyweh
Ever wondered what the difference between Fuel Cells and Batteries?

...we can’t build an international hydrogen market on a colour scheme – it needs to be on demonstrated and proven carbon intensity / carbon content basis...
Clean Energy Regulator - great presentation, thanks David Parker AM for a great update.

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Australian Hydrogen Conference 2022. A big bold start by Fiona Simon highlighting that we could lose our licence before we start - while that would not be very fair - its possible if we get it very wrong...

hhhmmm...
During a transition change in a technical sense – we should also challenge the rest of the things we could change.
Our paraphrase of part of an Environmental Resources Management presentation late on Day 1 of the conference.
Great job Justin Payne...

It takes a lot to get a project off the ground - so how do you eat an elephant... one bite at a time... so to with project task lists!!!
Trafigura - interesting project - looking forward to see it finished.

ENEOS looking to develop large scale H2 single fuel power plants (amongst other things).
These will be large hydrogen users - a key requirement for the development of the hydrogen supply chain.
Great update.
