The current suspension of poultry activities in Georgia applies to exhibitions, meet ups, swaps, and sales (auction market or flea market) involving live birds, it does not extend to the retail sale of poultry products or poultry processing operations.

Georgians can and should have 100% confidence that the poultry products like meat and eggs available for retail sale at their local grocery store or restaurant are safe and wholesome. USDA and the Georgia Meat Inspection Section have rigorous standards to ensure the safety of our food supply, and no impacted birds entered the food supply chain.

The International Production & Processing Expo at the Georgia World Congress Center will continue as scheduled.
