11 September proved one thing: unity gets heard. ✊

Now the message is louder.

28–30 SEPTEMBER 2026 THREE-DAY CONTINUOUS STRIKE 🚩

5 Days Banking. Fair PLI. Bilateral dialogue.

Bankers keep the system moving. Their legitimate demands deserve a decision, not endless delay.

Government, it’s time to act.

Bankers keep India connected 24×7.

But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.

A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.

The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.

Implement 5-Day Banking now.

India’s banking system is 24×7. Digital banking has expanded rapidly. 24,162 crore UPI transactions, 34.2 crore installations of official mobile-banking apps, 2.60 lakh BC/CSP points and 1.34 lakh PSB ATMs/CRMs. Yet bankers still work 6 days a week. Banking has changed. It’s time for the workweek to change. We demand the implementation of 5-Day Banking.

Dear Government,

Bankers demand 5 Days Banking for better health, family time and work-life balance.

We keep India’s banking system moving. Now, let bankers have a balanced week too.

#5DaysBanking A demand, not a luxury. ✊

Every 24x7 banking service has a banker behind it and a family waiting at home. We agreed to the 5-day week in March 2024 and accepted longer weekday hours. The regulator, the insurer and the Government all work 5 days.

Our demand is just. The delay is not.
