“Where you from?”
“Minnesota”
“Where in Minny?”
“Owatonna”
“Ohh ok what’s that by?”
“Rochester, Mankato, Faribault, etc”
“Um where?”
“Minneapolis.... I’m from Minneapolis. I live in the sculpture garden. I am the cherry on the spoon.”
During the regular season, 39% of the Wolves' shot *volume* were 3s. Right around league average. They ranked 15th in the league in 3-point shot frequency.
But they haven't touched that volume of 3s in any game in this series against San Antonio -- which seems a little backwards, given the presence of Wemby at the rim.
Regular season: 39% of shot volume
Game 1: 27% of shot volume
Game 2: 29% of shot volume
Game 3: 37% of shot volume
Game 4: 27% of shot volume
Game 5: 35% of shot volume
Asked Naz Reid why he thinks that has happened.
"I'm not sure, honestly. I don't know, honestly... I think they're there to be had. We just gotta make the right play."
“Hey it’s Garrett w the Timberwolves. I saw you came to a game last season on a free ticket transfer - how was it? ……. Oh great! Glad you had fun. Want to come watch these guys (dudes below) on a full season ticket package?”
What a time it was cold calling for that roster 😭
people forget a short time ago (2019) when the starting lineup for the Minnesota Timberwolves was, at one point: Treveon Graham, Robert Covington, Gorgui Dieng, Jarrett Culver and Shabazz Napier.
