@BrasenoseNews@OxfordBiology@brasenosejcr We wonder then how Maura would feel about the fact you are destroying A huge area of greenbelt next to Garsington so you line your coffers with cash from building almost 3000 houses!
The topic on most people's dinner tables is how bad the traffic is around Oxford everyday now. OCC supports the building of over 8000 new houses within 1/2 a mile of the ring road. It is a recipe for disaster that needs to be reviewed!
#ClimateCrisis#lunacy
The new normal on the Oxford ring road. Now imagine what this road is going to be like with 6400 new houses either side of blackbird leys.
#councillunacy#neednotgreed
@save_greenbelt This cannot be true. Millennials possibly but not the younger generation. All the information suggests it will be this generation that make the most impact in changing to a greener future.
@timbearder There's a balance be had here @timbearder. Whilst the national support of our pollinators is a superb idea and is essential , a coordinated programme of trimming paths back for access and road junctions for visibility should have been implemented.
Savills disregard for the community and the environment is shameless and sickening. The planning bill will ease their ability to develop unchecked and line their pockets. They will decide what is being built over and what stays. Do you think they have your community at heart?
It's about time. How many councillors did they lose before getting the message. STOP DESTROYING GREENBELT YOU IDIOTS! Eighty MPs are set to oppose Government's house-building spree https://t.co/WXTHXyyOnD via @MailOnline
@_ChrisJennings@CrispinTruman Let's hope the first on is yours! What a statement to make. We are fighting overdevelopment in Oxfordshire however we are still mindful that people need homes to live in. Statement such as your are ludicrous!
@TraderPaulFX@_ChrisJennings@CrispinTruman Are you ill? You actually think we have monoculture in the UK. Why not try getting out of a plane and seeing the diversity we have in plant life across the UK. To say that increasing building would make it look more interesting is the most vacuous remark we have heard this year.
@PascoeMarice@RobertJenrick Are you joking! @RobertJenrick is responsible for the highest amount of building on the greenbelt in over 100 years. He has no problem destroying whole counties such a Oxfordshire and is why the residents are fighting back to oust concreting conservative councillors
@davidparry100@claycon@PaulGoodmanCH@BorisJohnson@RobertJenrick@davidparry100 sadly you decision process is driven by misinformation. 'Affordable housing is a fallacy in Cambs and Oxon. Government have a plan for our regions which is only going to drive increased demand for housing which will be an endless cycle until no greenbelt is left!
@lewis_goodall@samculham Agreed. It has been amazing to see his 'Green new deal' disappear under his leadership. They seen happy to let the Conservatives concrete over the greenbelt in the southeast
Today there were 8 gains for the Liberal Democrats on Oxfordshire County Council, a huge increase from 13 to 21. Voters have made clear they want to see a greener, fairer and more caring county led by a council that listens.

@mwgbanks @BBCOxford @OxfordshireCC @ianhudspeth@District I think the name of the account states where the group is based. We supported any candidates who wish to protect the greenbelt and rural communities. Sadly conservative and Labour seem driven to allow the destruction of both so change is needed.
What were voters in Benson thinking. One of the leading protagonists of the hideous local plan and ousted at district level. Was he promising his bypass again! Wait till it's leveraged against 1000's of houses. Completely nuts!!!
