@SpannersReady It was so bizarre. Same with Mr Brundle’s very firm views on the lap 1 last week. I can understand a bit of friendly hostility or rooting against a driver when they’re dominating but he’s just a humble racer trying to scratch out an honest living these days, leave a poor man be!

@Blonde_Nutter @LEGO_Group I’ve had a bit of practice in recent years as I normally get roped in to help my kids build their Lego sets but I was a bit worried about how intricate this set might be. Turns out it wasn’t bad at all. I even got a little Perspex box to put it in.

@SpannersReady I thought LH said other rather than 2nd 🤷‍♂️ It’s hard to see him so down but his individuality & uniqueness are big reasons why I’m a fan. I find the whole Ivan Drago thing a bit off putting personally. Maybe he was a bit morose but if that’s how he felt then that’s how he felt.

@FormulaUR_ As soon as they put wings on F1 cars Monaco was compromised as a competitive race. If you can’t fight for position on track then you can’t race. When you put a 90s car next to a modern one it’s incredible that the sport still persists with it. It’s like we’re all in denial 😂

@simsgazette I think Adami has done a solid job. It does take time to build a relationship and we all know that the microscope working with LH brings is brutal. But Jock Clear and LH have so much in common and are cut from the same racing cloth. To me it’s a no brainier to put them together.

@FormulaUR_ I think Adami has done a solid job & I don’t think he’s at fault but you’ve got to use the best tool for a job. When you’ve got Jock Clear in the team surely it’s a no brainier to have him engineer LH? They’re cut from the same racing cloth and have a lot of common touch points.

@F1GuyDan At this point they should just run it as a standalone event with Mote Carlo specific smaller cars. They already bring unique steering & aero packages. I’d take off the wings Formula Ford style, lose the hybrid & stick in an off the shelf V6/V8 from the respective engine suppliers

@HaydonGullis I’m glad you enjoyed it. I had high hopes & I’m glad they tried something but with the exception of Ham making up a place in the stops and retirements, everyone pretty much finished where they qualified. This is just emperors new clothes. The cars are just too big for this track.

@BaxtyB Indeed. Although to be fair I’m pretty sure Wales weren’t racing today. It would have probably been more noteworthy if the Wales rugby union team had scored points in the Monte Carlo Grand Prix at the first time of asking.

@SpannersReady Agreed but I can sort of see why Rus was frustrated because Alb was really pushing. Rus has lost his head a bit there though. It’s a bit like at school when the teacher comes down hard on a good kid acting up compared to the naughty kid because it’s so out of character 😂

@JNPhillips4 It’s an awful situation for players/staff/fans to find themselves in. I guess a club going bust and then 2 feeling unable to sign a new PRA which the union had to get across the line to satisfy their financial obligations has been the straw that finally broke the camels back.
