CHARGED: Court records show Del. Gary Simmons has been charged with second degree assault for alleged contact with a female family member last Tuesday.

Two days later, he was on a county tour with Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, including in the ops center for the Anne Arundel Co. PD.

DJS EMPLOYEE ARRESTED: Malik Abdul Harvey, who works at Cheltenham Youth Detention Center, was arrested with 5 juveniles on July 23 (Thurs.) by Florida police for allegedly stealing from a 7-Eleven.

They were in FL from DC/MD for an unrelated travel basketball youth tournament.
