In all the understandable focus on the Premier League start, it's also worth saluting the number of grass-roots clubs currently, selflessly, coaching kids and developing the players of the future. Like @WallsendBoysFC in the middle of their summer camps hosting and coaching 107 local kids yesterday. A talented few will rise to the top like Shearer, Carrick, Anderson. All kids involved in the multi-sport summer camps will all benefit from Wallsend's coaching and guidance, great for their physical and mental health (also great for their parents).
