A MAN WITHOUT FEELINGS, CONSCIENCE, OR MORALS
Someone once asked: “Why do some British people dislike Donald Trump?”
Nate White, an eloquent and witty English writer, gave a brilliant answer (excerpts attributed to The Times of London):
“Trump lacks certain qualities that the British have traditionally valued. He has no class, no charm, no composure, no authority, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no modesty, no honor, and no dignity.
Although Trump may look ridiculous, he has never said anything ironic, funny, or even remotely witty. Not once. And I mean that literally. To the British, a complete absence of humor is almost a form of inhumanity. But in Trump's case, it is a fact. He doesn't even understand what a joke is. To him, a joke is a crude attack, an illiterate insult, or an act of casual cruelty. Just look at his endless obsession with someone's backside.
Trump resembles a troll. He never laughs sincerely; he merely squeals with delight or mockery. And what is even more frightening is that he doesn't just deliver crude and stupid insults — he actually believes this is perfectly normal. His mind is a primitive algorithm of petty prejudices and instinctive malice. There is no irony, complexity, nuance, or depth in him. Everything is superficial. We can see that he has no inner world, no soul. He is soulless.
In Britain, we have traditionally sided with David rather than Goliath. Our heroes have always been courageous underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither courageous nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite. He isn't even merely a spoiled rich boy or a greedy fat cat. He is more like a giant white slug, a privileged Jabba the Hutt.
And worse still, he is a bully. Yet when surrounded by other bullies, he instantly transforms into a groveling servant. He always punches down — something a gentleman would never do. And he takes particular pleasure in attacking those who are most vulnerable, defenseless, and already lying on the ground.
That is why the fact that a substantial minority of Americans — perhaps a third — look at him, listen to him, and think, ‘Yes, he's my kind of guy!’ is a source of enormous astonishment and alarm to the British. Because it is impossible to read even one of his tweets or listen to more than a few sentences without feeling the ground open beneath your feet.
He has turned mediocrity into an art form. He is the Picasso of pettiness, the Shakespeare of shit. His flaws are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on to infinity. There have always been plenty of stupid people in the world, and no shortage of wicked ones. But for stupidity to be so wicked, and wickedness so stupid — that is something truly rare.
Compared with him, Nixon looks trustworthy, and George W. Bush looks intelligent. If Frankenstein decided to create a monster made entirely of human flaws, he would create Trump. And then the horrified Dr. Frankenstein would scream in despair: ‘My God, what have I done?!’
And if idiocy were a television series, Trump would be its entire set.”
Stephen King is an American writer who works across many genres, including horror, thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, supernatural fiction, drama, and detective fiction. He has earned the nickname “King of Horror.” King is a literary giant whose words carry authority around the world.
Here is a statement attributed to him about Trump:
“We can joke about Trump, but this is no joke. He and his accomplices, with the support of the Supreme Court, are turning America into a fascist, authoritarian state. Republicans must stop putting party interests above the interests of their country and recognize the danger.”
Listen here, tough guy. I’ve already served my country. I don’t need to prove my courage to some keyboard warrior defending Vladimir Putin.
Your profile says Moscow, Russia, but X says you’re based in North America. Interesting.
Calling Putin a bitch doesn’t require a trip to Ukraine.
He’s still a bitch.
Oh, and you? You’re a gigantic, Putin worshipping, Kremlin bootlicking cockwomble twatwaffle with the backbone of a wet paper straw.
Now run along, you propaganda guzzling little bitch. 🖕
💔 IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS — A TRUE HERO FOR ANIMALS 💔
It is with enormous sadness that we have learned of the tragic death of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, who lost his life while carrying out an animal rescue mission in one of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Jesse dedicated his life to saving animals, even when it meant putting his own life at risk.
We first came to know Jesse in 2021, when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. Jesse and RainCoast were among the extraordinary organisations that came together to assist KSAR with the evacuation of 285 cats and dogs, helping many find loving forever homes.
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Jesse travelled to the border to help fleeing families and their pets, providing veterinary care, supplies and assistance getting animals to safety.
He returned repeatedly, undertaking increasingly dangerous missions.
Most recently, Jesse worked alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, rescuing hundreds of animals from devastated frontline communities under constant threat from drones, missiles and artillery.
These were extraordinary acts of compassion and courage in the face of unimaginable danger.
Jesse knew the risks. He knew every mission could be his last. Yet he continued because he believed animals caught in conflict deserved protection just as much as those living in peace.
Those of us working in animal rescue in conflict zones understand and accept these risks. But few possess the courage to repeatedly travel towards danger when everyone else is trying to escape it.
Jesse was one of those very special people.
His death is a devastating loss to his family, friends, RainCoast and the international animal rescue community.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, particularly the Ukrainian rescuers who worked alongside him.
His legacy lives on in every animal he saved and every rescuer he inspired.
Rest in peace, Jesse. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, and the animals have lost a true champion. 🐾💔

@misspaulalondon As I struggle in the wind and rain on a roof, I come back to my van for a bit of a warm and spot of lunch, and open twitter to see what's occurring, I see this and the warmth just radiates off your picture and warms the cockles!☺️👍x Cheers 🥂
@davec_NH FYI, I lived in Avdiivka until 2016. My wife and her parents were born there, her grandparents are buried there. I assure you, not a single resident of Avdiivka voted to join Putin’s shit hole country. Take Putin’s cock out of your ass and go fuck yourself
Oh fuck off ivan! The claim refers to the September 2022 referendums held in Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine’s Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Those votes are not treated as legitimate expressions of popular will by Ukraine, the UN, the EU, the US, or most other countries.
They were organised by Russian-installed authorities in territory under military occupation. Armed personnel were present, voting was often conducted door-to-door, secrecy was limited, and independent international observers recognised by Ukraine or major Western bodies were not present. Large numbers of residents had already fled the fighting, so the remaining population was not representative of the pre-war electorate. The UN political affairs chief stated at the time that the exercises “cannot be called a genuine expression of the popular will” and could not be regarded as legal under international law because they occurred during active armed conflict under foreign control and outside Ukraine’s constitutional framework.
Reported results (roughly 87–99% in favour) were published by the occupation authorities and Russian state media. The EU described the votes as “illegal sham referenda” conducted amid intimidation and human-rights abuses, declared the outcome null and void, and said it would never recognise them or any annexation based on them. Similar assessments came from the US and other governments.
“Green men” is the common term for unmarked or lightly marked Russian military personnel who first appeared in Crimea in 2014 and were again involved in the 2022 occupation and control of these regions. The presence of occupying forces is one of the central reasons international law does not treat such votes as free or fair.
Russia formally annexed the territories on the basis of these referendums. Almost all other countries continue to recognise the areas as part of Ukraine. The claim that the regions simply “voted to become part of Russia” therefore omits the conditions of occupation, coercion, and lack of recognised free and fair process under which the votes took place.
I am genuinely astonished that, after Donald Trump has spent the past two years stripping Ukraine of virtually all Congressionally-approved aid, threatening Ukraine, fawning over Putin and bending over backwards to please him in every conceivable way, blaming Ukraine for being invaded, hurling vicious, absurd insults, blackmail, and torrents of lies at it, twisting its arm to force it into capitulation, humiliating it with his antics, making it a scapegoat for his own failures and incompetence in the eyes of voters, and now openly and definitively entering into direct collusion with the Kremlin and siding with it in exchange for promised corrupt “business opportunities” for himself, his family, and his inner circle -- there are still people who have the nerve search with a magnifying glass for ways in which Zelensky failed to kiss Trump's ass enthusiastically enough to explain why he has been treating Ukraine this way.

@JohnWight1 I'm guessing your occupation is writing story books for kids....🙄
If not, I'd suggest that you do, as your fairy tale imagination could prove it to be your one true vocation in life...😳
Blithering idiot...🤦🤡
I’ve never seen so many Russian Federation accounts crawling out of the woodwork on X. I must’ve said something a little too honest and struck a nerve.
You vodka soaked Kremlin cockwombles and bargain bin Putin bootlickers have fun. Apparently, the truth hurts more than I thought. 🖕😿
