I haven’t been active on here much the past few days. Been on vacation with our kids, and phone has been in a drawer for most of that time (yes I pulled it out to post this)

If you’re looking for a New Year’s resolution for your parenting, try one around screen time

Most parents average 6-8 hours of screen time per day, and that’s not including work hours

That’s like 100 days per year on screens

That means if your kids live with you til they’re 18, that’s 5 years of their life you spent on screens (check my math, not gonna edit this post if I’m wrong but I think I’m right lol)

Give them a few years back by cutting that screen time in half. Easy to do if you’re serious. And the memories you’ll make with your new time together will be priceless
