In a significant step forward, the DRC and Rwanda initialed the text of the Regional Economic Integration Framework today, overseen by Under Secretary Hooker. The REIF outlines key areas for fostering economic cooperation and development between the two nations, demonstrating the tangible benefits of peace and creating opportunities for investment and growth that directly benefit people in the region. Its implementation remains contingent upon the satisfactory execution of the Concept of Operations and Operational Order under the Peace Agreement, underscoring the critical link between peace, stability, and economic progress.

At the hospital, everyone wait in line.
Rwandan youths attend a seminar where they meet the President every year and share their ideas, and the President takes this seriously. At the next seminar, the President provides feedback on the previous conclusions. So it's not just words, but actions.
In Rwanda, leaders are young; including ministers and all sorts of leaders in the police, army, and so on. It's a young people's country, and they decide their future.
Police don't demand bribes; there's a free hotline if anyone violates your rights.
A soldier won't intimidate you just for wearing the uniform.
Everyone understands how the country is governed because they all have a voice.
Nothing is perfect, but when issues arise, people know exactly where to file complaints and give feedback for better governance and services! And guess what? It works.
Rwanda isn't rich, but they use what little they have wisely and it’s visible.
