Year 5 have spent the morning at Blists Hill Victorian Town. They’ve dressed up as Victorian children and been taught in a Victorian school. After school they headed to the bank to exchange their money for shillings so they could spend it in town. Certainly a day to remember.

Gateway School Year 5 residential is well underway. So far, on day one, they have been to the Museums of Iron, Enginuity and Ironbridge since they arrived!

Year 3 had a fabulous ‘Castles Day’ yesterday. They designed their own coat of arms, built castles and took part in a medieval tournament. The kitchen team prepared a medieval banquet and showed the children how food was prepared at that time.
