First, we need your support in calling out CIC Group's management and the board for violating CMA regulations and misleading CIC investors. @CICGroupPLC

Under CMA regulations, companies must issue a profit warning within 24 hours once management becomes aware of a projected 25%+ drop in net earnings. CIC Group FY2025 ends on 31st December, 2025. CIC Group's management was aware of the projected 25%+ drop for FY2025 earnings before December 2025 but did not disclose it to investors (shareholders) until 23rd February 2026. This is a violation of CMA regulations. We must hold the management acocountable. @CMAKenya

Under CMA Regulations 2023, companies must promptly disclose material information that could affect share prices, including the sale of significant assets and major earnings changes. Material information explicitly includes the purchase or sale of a significant asset such as land sale. A long delay could mislead investors and attract sanctions.

@CICGroupPLC disclosed the sale of 50 acres neighbouring Tatu City and 100 acres in Kajiado on 11th February, 2026. CIC Group disclosed the sale of the Kiambu land close to 2 years later. As CIC shareholders we are demanding to know the exact day, month and year when the two transactions were completed.

CIC Group recognised a fair value of approximately KES 1 Billion arsing from the revaluation of Kiambu land property. This gain materially elevated the group's reported profit for FY2024 and does not recur in FY2025. Why did @CICGroupPLC not disclose the land sale in 2025? Given that the CIC management was aware of a projected 25%+ drop in net earnings for FY2025 before December 2025, why did CIC Group not issue a profit warning in November or December 2025? Why did CIC Group issue a profit warning on 23rd February, 2026 just one month before the release of FY2025 results in late March? Why did CIC management violate CMA regulations?

We are demanding answers from the @CICGroupPLC's management and board! I will dedicate the next 1 year to fight for CIC investors. CIC Group's management and the board must know that this will not end here. As investors we are going to file a legal suit against CIC Group. During Jomo Kemyatta's rule, Kiambu suffered the ignominy of a cabal infamously referred to as Kiambu Mafia. Now there is a new Kiambu Mafia in diapers laced with poopooh which is claiming that Kiambu will not be in Mt Kenya region. Let me state categorically that Kiambu will always be part of Mt Kenya.
