But let’s not forget that after what happened, Taeui didn’t answer Ilay's question about whether he liked him. That night at the hotel actually widened the distance between them. He didn’t forget the past, but he also didn’t regret that three years later, he ended up by Ilay’s side. Of course, we joke that IlTae are such fools that it took them so long to confess their feelings, but on the other hand, we saw just how long it took Taeui to open up to Ilay a second time.
The fact that Taeui accepted his fate with Ilay doesn’t mean he forgot or forgave Ilay easily.
