Ruchika Singh and her family have been on the run since her abusive video went viral. Now an FIR too has been registered against her under Sec 352, 353(1), and 356(1).

People her age would do well to learn a fundamental lesson from this. Crowd dynamics can grant a false sense of empowerment, making it easy to break the law when surrounded by a cheering audience, but the consequences are borne individually. So always think carefully before letting impulse take over.

Was a fleeting moment of applause from a small crowd worth risking a future? In my view, she needs psychiatric counseling far more than a legal action. But regardless of what I think, the consequences are here, and I’m sure she’s finally realizing the true cost of those few moments of clout.

A child in a lift, going down, stops at the ninth floor. He thinks no one’s there, closes the door, then sees a foot and quickly opens it.

A scumbag enters, furious the door was shut, slaps the child repeatedly, bites his hand, hurls abuses, threatens to stab him, and hits him again in the lobby.

Police first tried to downplay it. An FIR came only four days later, after the family’s protests and online outrage.

What would you do if this happened to your child? I know your answer. So why doesn’t it happen in reality?

MusIims don't donate organs; it's against their religion. A few months ago, cricketer Syed Kirmani pledged to donate his eyes but faced criticism from his community and retracted the decision citing religious beliefs.

But, MusIims can accept organs and they do. They come to India from Pakistan and Bangladesh as there are little Hindus left there to donate organs to them. And we, jinhone duniya ka theka le rakha hai, roll out the red carpet for them.

Just days ago, we allowed a Pakistani girl to jump the queue and receive a heart transplant. The average waiting time for Indians is 24-36 months, yet this girl was given a wild card entry. Kamaal hai.

We only crib. We don't do anything about the reverse discrimination that we face. Hoping for politicians to listen to your cries won't change anything—it's never going to happen.

No political party will abolish reservation; instead, it will likely increase. Many states are already exceeding 70% reservation, and soon it may extend to the private sector.

So, why just complain? Why not unite and act? Let's start with small legal battles, such as challenging disparities in application fees or difference in age criteria, and escalate from there. Our united efforts can help us, at least, in preventing further damage. Even if we fail, at least we'll have tried.
