If she auditioned, and fits the character - then what else really matters? Representation includes being able to play a wide array of roles
@ilyclemmie They didn't 'make' - actress auditioned and got the role - you act like they have no agency in this

@honeyflask @GenerallEXE @DiscussingFilm I think the kids in Bly Manor were a little hammy at times, but it worked for their characters, especially Flora. I think her overpoliteness and positively hid her trauma, although sometimes I felt her line delivery was a little too Hermione in Philosophers Stone.
@honeyflask @GenerallEXE @DiscussingFilm Really ? That's surprising considering the powerhouse performances in most of his Netflix work. Both Haunting shows have some of my favorite performances by child actors, my favorites being Violet McGraw and Mackenna Grace from Hill House.
