Bayt al-Maqdis (بيت المقدس) is an ancient Arabic expression derived from the Hebrew Beit HaMikdash (בית המקדש) the Holy Temple that stood in Jerusalem.

Jesus entered and taught in that Temple, which the Gospel of Matthew refers to as “the temple of God.”

So you basically prayed in a mosque that is named after the Jewish temple in the land of Israel.
