@dai_alectic@SkySportsNews Ah well, we can all look back on this and laugh when we don’t qualify for another major tournament. As you can tell I’m being very optimistic! 😅
@dai_alectic@SkySportsNews I fell for it too at the beginning with all of his philosophical ramblings. Was really exciting to hear his passion for Cymru. However, with crap results and and all of this now, it shows how easily the line between profound intellectual and bullshitter can be blurred.
@Colemans_Dream It also emphasises why, regardless of playing career/personality/etc. Managers still need to be held to account, Bellamy appears to have always had the media on his side, so I doubt he’ll face much criticism from them. I imagine a few Cymru fans might think differently!
@dai_alectic@TheWelshDragon9 I feel like he needs a bit of jeopardy regarding his place in the team, he can’t keep turning up half-arsed. We’ve seen a couple of games where he looks interested, but they’re few and far between atm. Start him on the bench Monday
@TheWelshDragon9 I imagine Bellamy would want to stick a strong squad out regardless of Belgium as the next game. No point sticking a 2nd team out when even England’s 2nd Xl might tear us a new one. Better to take the match seriously and give it as good a go as we can. Praying for no injuries 😬
@DrJessTaylor I thought Underclass was a brilliant insight into your experiences both in and out of academia. It was so honest, and a valuable reflection of the challenges of being working-class whilst aspiring to succeed in a middle-class arena!
@thebarryhorns I think it’s a lot easier to pin the blame on one nurse compared to arresting health board directors etc. Very disturbing if that’s the case!
