Recent rains made it to our Plum Creek Wetlands Preserve and filled 19 constructed ponds and wetlands. Staff visited the preserve to get some Vitamin N (nature). Plants, animals and insects are evidently happy to have the spring rains, but the Chinaberry trees were not as lucky.

Around 7:30am an orange Pelican kayak with fishing gear on board was located in the Aransas Channel, near Aransas Pass. We are asking that if anyone is missing a kayak or knows of an over due kayaker that was out last night please contact @TexasGameWarden or @AransasPassPD
