“The best thing that happens is when we go out and fans will come up to me, and she’ll be standing next to me. And they’ll be like, ‘You gotta have a boy…have somebody to carry on the tradition, the legacy.’ She’s like, ‘Oi. I got this.’” Kobe on his daughter Gianna #RIP 💔
I do not believe that Leah Sharibu has converted to Islam. They are trying to demean her & remove her status as a hero. That girl would rather die than convert to Islam. She remains a hero of the Christian faith & if she is dead then she is a martyr. Whichever way she wins!
The video of 8-year old Shekinah. Amazing stuff. Brilliant boxing Talent. The gold is in the Child. I spoke with her father Quadri in Lagos this morning and her Coach Sulaiman ‘energy’ to find out about her. We will follow her and get her adopted.
Today we celebrate Funmilayo Ransome Kuti who served with distinction as one of the most prominent leaders in Nigeria. She actively defended the rights of Nigerian women and also advocated for our right to vote.

We will keep fighting for the justice of our innocent children. It's been a year you left this world, but you are living in our hearts. Kudos to our role models & mentors in the fight for justice.

Ochanya loved life. Her only CRIME was her love for #education.
She was only a girl & verily had a RIGHT to the thrills of childhood, of girlhood, to health & to LIFE but alas, she was robbed of them all!
Which is why, a yr later, we are demanding, screaming: #JusticeForOchanya
Hajia Gambo Sawaba (15 Feb., 1933 - Oct., 2001)
Is there anyone like her in Northern Nigeria today?
I wonder if the younger generation know about this women's rights activist, politician and philanthropist of Northern extraction.
