Mourning all that Brexit has destroyed. Still angry with all who caused and connived in it. Determined to undo at least some of that harm. #StopFascism
I'm sick of people whining that #FBPE people aren't following them back, and then checking their timelines to find they've done fuck all to promote the pro-EU cause. FBPE, which I now don't use, doesn't give you an automatic right to a follow. You have show you're pro-EU too.
🚨 Follow the money 💰
Reform UK has taken nearly £45,000 from a donor charged by the US SEC, found by a UK judge to have told “deliberate lies”, and deemed “not fit and proper” by a financial regulator.
This isn’t anti-elite politics. It’s elite money in populist clothing.

🚨 NEW: Another Farage school testimony
This Observer account is deeply troubling.
A contemporary at Dulwich College describes repeated, performative Holocaust references by Nigel Farage including “Gas ’em all” chants and jokes about a “Belsen Bus”.
This just was not normal in 1970s. I was the same age - no one behaved like this.

When up to 8 MEPs under #Farage are now said (Guardian) to have taken cash to spout Russian propaganda (data from Nathan Gill‘s phone), are we really to believe that Farage … did so for free? Out of the goodness of his own heart?
💣 And here is the real bombshell for Britain 🇬🇧
The UK is the test case and demonstration model.
Brexit was not just encouraged by US actors 👉it was stage one of a wider project:
✔ Weaken Europe
✔ Remove regulatory power centres
✔ Force reliance on US defence + US agribusiness + US finance
✔ Create a balkanised Europe that cannot constrain American corporations or stand up to US geopolitical pressure
This is why:
•Trump wants more EU exits
•Trump wants a G7 replacement (C5) with Russia and China
•Trump wants Europe dependent on US LNG and agrifood
•Trump wants the ECHR weakened or destroyed
•Trump wants deregulation across food, farming, chemicals, privacy, data, and workers’ rights
A weak, fractured Europe benefits the USA. A strong EU does not.
That’s the entire logic.
🔥 Emma Duncan’s column isone of the cleanest, least ideological admissions yet of what Brexit has done and why the argument is effectively over, even if politics hasn’t caught up.
The key point is not that economists agree on every detail. It’s that they no longer disagree on the direction of travel.
Brexit has: made the UK poorer, lowered growth, reduced investment and the gap widens over time
That’s now the consensus position across serious economic analysis.
🔥 This chart ends the Brexit argument.
Since 2016:
📉 GDP per head
📉 Business investment
📉 Productivity
📉 Employment
There is no serious economic paper showing Brexit benefited Britain.
Still Labour, Reform & Tories deliver for the 13% Brexit die-hards and not the 61% who know it failed.
Brexit is a busted flush. Fix it.
🙄 Let’s be honest:
🇷🇺 You don’t get eight Farage-aligned MEPs echoing Kremlin language by accident.
💰 One gets paid.
🙄 The rest just happen to follow the same script? Again and again?
I wasn’t born yesterday.

This clip from 2019 of Matt Frei asking Farage about Arron Banks funding his lifestyle is wild considering recent events.
He’s not only walking with convicted Russian asset, Nathan Gill, but at the end when again asked who’s paying for it all, what’s his answer?
“Russians!”
The European “patriotic” parties the Trump administration seeks to encourage are exactly those far-right parties which the Kremlin has so amply funded and supported for the last decade

Nigel Farage believes he should not be held accountable for his 15 year-old self.
Nigel Farage also believes that Shamima Begum should be held accountable for her 15 year-old self.
Do as I say, not as I do.
Nigel Farage = massive hypocrite.
Donald Trump has not only tied Ukraines hand behind its back throughout the course of this war, but he has also helped Russia at every possible opportunity.
Donald Trump is the biggest traitor to the west that we have witness since World War 2.
The rot is finally surfacing.
A former Brexit Party MEP - named in WhatsApp messages alongside jailed Reform UK leader Nathan Gill - is now denying pro-Russian payments after being linked to a Putin-aligned influence network.
This isn’t a one-off.
Brexit wasn’t homegrown.
It was infiltrated.
Farage built his career on a movement riddled with Russian 🇷🇺 links and now the messages, the money trails and the convictions are landing.
Sunlight really is hitting the vampires.

🔴 Boris Johnson and Alexander Lebedev Must Be Investigated in a New Public Inquiry into Russian Influence
If you think the Gill conviction is bad, wait till you hear about another Leave campaigner and his connections to Putin’s inner circle…

A senior Oxford historian @RobertGildea has now said it plainly:
Britain 🇬🇧 needs a public inquiry into Brexit and it could be the pathway to rejoining the EU.
His core points are devastating:
🔹 Brexit failed to control immigration – replacing EU workers with asylum hotels and losing our right to return people to Europe.
🔹 Brexit choked trade, investment and labour, leaving the UK economy stuck at the bottom.
🔹 The EU has a functioning asylum pact. Britain, alone, has nothing.
🔹 57% of voters now want to go back.
He argues that a full public inquiry would finally expose Farage’s lies, reset the national story, and make it politically possible for Labour to lead Britain back into Europe.
In other words:
The truth is now a rejoin strategy.

NEW: The British politician, his Russian intelligence handler & a Kremlin plot against the US & Ukraine.
My new piece about Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage for @thenerve_news in which we ask:
Why, even now, is no-one asking questions?
