The National Museum of WWII Aviation holds its monthly Historical Presentation and Fly Day. Today we flew the P-47 Thunderbolt. The museum, located in Colorado Springs, is home to 29 operational WWII aircraft.
NASA806, an ER-2, departs Colorado Springs on its way back home to Edwards AFB. 806 has spent the last few months at Colorado Springs in support of the GEMx mission.
