@Pirat_Nation I will definitely give up ok Sony PlayStation, yup! I only still play cause I have it and still have games to finish.
For now one I'll be a PC player, I am kinda enjoying, specifically using Steam!
I don't like pirating so I guess steam is my way!
Apagão na zona de Mação, mais alguém? A noite tem sido constante de ir e vindo da eletricidade, por vezes apenas segundos. É só na zona?

A Collectathon, a action shooter, a horror with a short story... I have to much bad and abandoned ideas and not so much discipline to finish them.
I need to start finish projects. Make them smaller. More focused.

I will end up most probably on an action "collectathon" rather then the original more relax contemplative idea. I really don´t know if I can create a fun comtemplative game, or even if i´d like play that, idk... I'l just follow the fun I guess.

Today I made an important decision: my next exploration game project will be inspired by my trips with my girlfriend to nature trails and walkways. It will be my first project that is not action heavy or combat focus. A more contemplative and relax experience.
I've noticed that lately I've only focused on the technical aspects (algorithms, systems, architecture, etc.). When I started, I dedicated so much time to the "lore," the world, the characters, the "world-building." I know why this happened...
I will start (again)🥲 a new project on UE5, I'l make a FPS all about Spells & Guns / Weapons. I'l focus on gameplay, for the first time I'm thinking about using a retro 3d style, more pixelated style like Valheim, I'm not sure yet;
one thing that i really want to achieve is to cause the feeling of "I want to know more" , create theorys and stuff like I see people on Youtube do with old games like the ones i mention;
( 2/2 )
I am day dreaming a lot with a 3d game, exploration heavy, moody, stylized, I am really considering a first person collectathon;
In my mind it feels like something like SuperMario64 and or Jak and Dexter (1) but on first person, a good balance of explorarion and combat;
( 1/2 )
But now I'm trying to channel my... well, "situation" and feelings into something productive and that I like doing. So yup, I'm hopping that I can continue and finally ship a game and having fun along the way.
Given some personal situations and event's I've been somewhat distracted and way from my main project, to the point I can't even remember exactly what game I was doing 😅... In that time I've been remaking on Unreal with c++ an old prototype "Lightfast"...
Idea...
Each Tile as a "self contained level / area" like a sci fi dome that provides it own "atmosphere" maybe better comparison its the Truman Show. Then it has specific entrances and exists to the others tiles (" domes ")
New Project ( 3 / 3 )
This first-person action game blends survival, horror, and stylized 3D graphics. The core of the game is a unique mix of modern-day elements with magic and mysticism.

New Project ( 2 / 3 )
And so I can have some "advantage" I was trying to reutilize in someway something that I had already try or prototype to give me some bases. Also trying to maintain a small scope and most important : something that excites me

New Project ( 1 / 3 )
Ok so after some time thinking and brainstorming I had decided what should be my next game project; To help me deciding I start to constrain myself: Not narrative based / campaign, no multiplayer, mechanics driven, no open world or lot of levels
#gamedesign
I was just watching this video and thought about a game or a feature all around making and placing signs..! Must be the new idea hype effect but I think it might be something really fun!
