Rockaz fans have been left puzzled after Namibian kwaito musician Exit’s seventh studio album, Cum Laude, disappeared from Spotify.
The 2017 project, which produced the hit song “Oludalo Lange”, winner of Best Kwaito at the 2018 Namibia Annual Music Awards (NAMAs), was still available on the streaming platform just days ago.
Fans who recently searched for the album can still find it in their search history, but attempts to play its tracks instead redirect them to Spotify’s artist radio feature.
The album also earned Exit, whose real name is David Shikalepo, a nomination for Best Male Artist of the Year at the same awards.
The “Amanyonyooba” hitmaker has since acknowledged the issue, telling fans “we on it” while directing them to Apple Music.
