Day 2 in the Liqfinity Mainnet Lab 🧪

Progress update: I’ve successfully locked my USDT, minted LQLP, posted that as collateral… and borrowed USDT again.
I even looped it twice; fully operational now.

Here’s the breakdown of what went down today (@liqfinity mainnet)

1) The Setup
✦ Deposit USDT → mint LQLP (1:1)
✦ Post LQLP as collateral
✦ Borrow USDT again against that collateral

This recursive flow is the foundation of the LQLP loop.

2) The Double Loop
Today I ran it twice, end-to-end:
✦ Initial USDT → LQLP → collateral
✦ Borrowed USDT → redeposited → minted more LQLP
✦ Posted again → borrowed again

Result = more USDT in play, without selling my crypto.

3) Why Loop?
✦ LPs earn 90% of protocol fees in USDT hourly
✦ Loops boost exposure and yield if APY > borrow APR
✦ It’s a compounding engine when done smartly

But the golden rule: don’t over-loop. Efficiency > greed.

4) My Lab Takeaways
✦ Two loops felt balanced; enough juice, without tipping into inefficiency
✦ Fees stayed manageable thanks to Sentinel AI’s dynamic adjustments
✦ Strategy remains: steady yield + leaderboard climb

Key note: I stopped looping when I saw APR ≈ 38% vs APY ≈ 43%. The margin is there, but slim. Better to pause than push into inefficiency.

5) Precautions
✦ Keep a USDT buffer for hourly fees
✦ Track APRs → they can swing with volatility
✦ Entry fees on each loan → churn carefully

Day 2 Insight:
