Girls that genuinely have NO friends… what do y’all be doing?? 😭 Like no group chat, nobody calling your phone, nobody to randomly link with, you really just be by yourself every day 😂 Cause same, and I’m genuinely curious what all the other friendless girls be doing with their time besides work 😭
“They set Poco up”, “it’s the devil”
Lmao jokers, if many of you were in the UK, US or Canada, you’d have been arrested for assault too lmao I mean I see your tweets.
Consent has been explained on this TL 356 times yet y’all still do “what was she wearing” “wetin she go do for hotel” each time a man is outed for sexual assault. You never understand bodily autonomy, you think prostitutes can’t be raped, cos “na ashewo” you think short skirts mean consent, you think hotel visits mean consent, you think raunchy videos posted online mean consent, you think clubbing with a man means consent, you openly talk about grooming 17 year olds, better remain in Nigeria or you will be fuckin arrested too.
I don’t know if Pocolee is guilty or not, I will wait for the facts but if he is just like the average Nigerian man: the one that calls you a ‘simp’ for asking him to be decent in dealing with women, the one that vehemently refuses to unlearn archaic practices that won’t fly anywhere else, Im willing to hazard a guess & my guess is; “guilty” I’m sorry.
Love Island is over. ✅ The World Cup is over. ✅
Finally, BBN starts on Sunday. It’s my turn to enjoy the timeline. I don’t want any noise, please. I let you people enjoy all your favourite pastimes in peace. Now shift small and let us have our season.
I grew up extremely slim and I'm still quite slim so I guess I can talk about it.
Slim people are body shamed, extensively and hurtfully.
A couple of weeks ago, I attended a wedding with my classmate. While we were there, he introduced me to his aunt and the woman told him in Yoruba that she hoped I was not his girlfriend because my "neck was dry".
She assumed that I wouldn't understand what she said and that made it all the more hurtful.
As a child, people used to ask if my parents were starving me. Random strangers would walk up to me, wrap their hands around my wrists and comment on how thin I was. People would tell me that I wouldn't find a husband because men don't want bones.
Two truths can coexist. Fat people are body shamed and thin people are body shamed. None is more hurtful than the other. None is pleasant. None should be dismissed.
