@ReynaldZackery@BrickCenter_ The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead 10 years ago because of that famous Draymond Green moment (when challenges were not introduced yet).
So in my humble opinion, this is the biggest finals ‘choke’ ever. Certainly statistically too.
@BrickCenter_ Again, i had never witnessed something like this in the last 40 years! Mind blowing.
But Fox and Mitch Johnson surely helped to achieve those historical stats!
@The_StilesFiles And the only team that might consider trading for Fox are the Grizzlies.
To get rid of Morant, another ‘bad’ contract…
But hey, i would certainly consider it after talking multiple hours with Morant.
If someone can get him back on the rails again, his talent was amazing until…
@JWeinbachNBA He and his coach struggled the most during the finals.
I’ve never seen an NBA final where a team led 72% of the series, and lost it by 4-1!
@TylerGlasscock_ A veteran guard who lost most of his explosiveness due to injuries? I’m afraid that he won’t get better any more…
We saw that too often with other players, when they lost their explosiveness and/or athleticism.
I hope i’m wrong and his ankle was the issue, but i don’t think so.
@driveboylaflare@BetMGM Memphis, maybe. To get rid of Morant.
Morant was an amazing talent until…
Someone needs to get him back on the rails, but with Johnson as a coach… extremely difficult.
@BetMGM The only team that might consider him is Memphis, for getting rid of Morant.
But Morant needs a veteran coach who can handle him and bring some of his skillset back.
Morant would probably like those young guys around him.
@BradeauxNBA I wonder if a trade for Morant could be an option?
Because Memphis clearly wants to trade him and nobody else will trade for Fox after this debacle.
But i don’t know if Morant will be able to solve all his ‘problems’ and stay healthy, a (huge) risk of course…

@BucfanTB@LakeShowYo I agree with you, except for the first sentence that you wrote.
NY was not the better team in my opinion.
They just profited from the numerous mistakes from Fox, coach Johnson, Wemby…
@AlexKennedyNBA I completely agree.
I’ve been watching NBA finals and basketball for 40 years now and i’ve never experienced multiple breakdowns and collapses like these!
Simply mind blowing!
Fans in San Antonio must be absolutely shellshocked, devastated and sick! 😳
I’m sick of watching it!
@BrettSiegelNBA I watched 40 NBA finals and this one was the worst to watch, simply because i was watching the same bad movie over and over again!
The Spurs were the better team and had BIG leads in ALL 5 games, but blew it continuously!
Johnson chose to stuck with Fox and that cost him.
@SpursCulture I totally disagree with that. Fox had experience as a floor general and completely failed.
He’s on that max, which is terrible because Harper should start next season.
And that coach, i’m afraid that the Spurs really need an experienced coach like Brown to avoid those collapses.
@SpursTuits@TylerGlasscock_ He was certainly not good and consistent enough during these finals, but his performances were not as bad as those from Fox (and his coach).
@TylerGlasscock_ And again, i’ve never seen an NBA final in 40 years where a team blew 4 big leads and lost ALL 4 too! Mind blowing.
But Fox and Johnson surely know how those leads vanished! 🙄

@RealTomPetrini Way too many mistakes if you want to compete for a championship.
And they didn’t learn from it during the series.
Same for Johnson of course.
