este festa es para las que no nos fuimos a ningún lado, las que no caímos en la propaganda de refugiarse en otros grupos, las que no caímos en la propaganda de que bts cambiaron, las que nunca dudamos en que iban a regresar como grupo
I remembered back then BTS members used to be so worried, sad and crying over simple non issue mishaps made on stage during tour but now they laugh over it and have fun, im truly loving this new era of BTS where they aren't harsh on themselves.
I will be very clear abt this cos I have not said a word before.
The "supposed" toning down of frequency of choreos, is NOT just bc "Theyre getting older". This isn't a necessity just for today's situation.
2016 Wings era BTS should have this. I wish 2019 LY era BTS had done this too.
I wish way back then, they had known they did NOT have to push themselves beyond their bodies' limits to "make it", or to be "appreciated" by their fans and others. The tears and sweat and blood should have been less...
K-Pop glorifies idols doing everything the "fans" might demand. And labels exploit this, they enforce this mentality to their idols, make them push themselves beyond their limits "when they still can", before their "expiration date" which is usually around 30.
BTS too constantly said they wanted to do "this" as much as they could; dance, hard choreos, tours etc bc they didn't know for how long they could keep doing it.
They constantly pushed themselves to a degree of passing out, getting hurt, risking permanent damage to their bodies... Because they believed that was needed to succeed.
But NOW? They already know they made it. And this 2nd chapter, ARMYs' non-stop support made them see that their mindset for music and stage is the important part. Not the constant "wow" factor. There is a reason why people go to circus shows but don't become fans.
AND this 2nd chapter helped BTS to see that ARMYs' commitment don't come from such "wow"s but from the mindsets of 7 Korean men (then boys);
They don't need to do a certain genre, or constant choreos, or do things out of fear of being "accepted".
They can now do things on their own pace and terms, and ARMYs will always follow them in whatever path they choose. I for one am proud of ARMYs for giving BTS this trust and security.
And I don't care how many out there wants to boast abt their IDOLs pushing their bodies to their limits until their expiration date comes.
I am boasting about my FOREVER ARTISTs feeling secure and pacing themselves for the decades to come, NOT for a deadline
