#IndiaSaudiArabia sign an MoU for electrical interconnections, green & clean hydrogen and supply chains.

Accordingly, the two nations will establish a general framework for cooperation in electrical interconnection, exchange electricity during peak times and emergencies, co-develop projects and co-produce #GreenHydrogen and renewable energy.

The MoU also calls for establishing secure, reliable and resilient #SupplyChains of materials used in green hydrogen and the #RenewableEnergy sector.

Besides, it has recently come to light that India-Saudi talks about Saudi Aramco’s participation in developing India’s #StrategicPetroleumReserves have gained pace.

While several geopolitical developments took centre-stage at G20 Summit in New Delhi, on its sidelines, India & US agreed to work on #PlanetaryDefense to protect Earth & space assets from hazardous impact of #asteroids and near-Earth objects.

Besides, #IndiaUS are also working towards establishing commercial #SpaceCollaboration under the existing India-US Civil Space Joint Working Group. In line with it, ISRO & NASA have commenced discussions on a plan for a joint crewed mission to the International @Space_Station in 2024 and are finalising a strategic framework for cooperation on human space flight by the end of 2023.

Another crucial #G20 success establishing India as a #WorldLeader.

#WorldBank notes that India has achieved 80% #FinancialInclusion in just the last 6 years, instead of the 47 years it might have taken in the normal course.

The @WorldBank acknowledged India’s robust #DigitalPublicInfrastructure (DPI), viz. Jandhan bank accounts, Aadhar, mobile & mobile-based services, etc., have empowered millions. World Bank also highlighted that India has saved $33 bn through the #DirectBenefitTransfer (DBT) system.

At the recent #G20SummitDelhi, India successfully pushed its digital public infrastructure, like #Aadhar, #UPI, etc., as a means for financial inclusion. This push by India and now the World Bank report will help India catapult globally, especially in #GlobalSouth nations, as a #TechnologyLeader.

– @DRDO_India will setup technical office in France at @IndiaEmbFrance. India will also open a consulate in Marseille, while France will open one in Hyderabad
